NFPA 11 Annex A 1.1 states that foams are not suitable for three dimensional, flowing liquid or gas fires. Unfortunately most fires are three dimensional, many involve flowing liquid fuels or gas so you will need something other than foam. That something is F-500EA.
F-500EA is not a foam and contains no PFOS/PFOA.
F-500EA extinguishes fire in three ways whereas foams are limited to one. F-500EA drops the heat of a fire massively and rapidly, taking it below the ignition temperature in seconds, remove the heat – remove the fire. F-500EA encapsulates fuel and flammable vapours making them non-ignitable. F-500EA interrupts the Free Radicle chain reaction, preventing re-ignition. These attributes make F-500EA the perfect suppressant for difficult fires such as:
